The External artifact component page contains information and references related to one specific artifact/component.

The page has four main areas:

  1. Identity of the artifact.
  2. Tabs row and unique content for each tab.
    1. Artifacts tab.
    2. History tab.
  3. Information box.

Filters

Filter by Description
Search Search artifact name(s).
License approval Filter by license approval
License Filter by license source
Vulnerability Vulnerability
Status tags Filter on a set of status tags (see below).

Tabs

Name Description
Artifacts Versions information for this artifact.
History A list of manual changes in MAIA web app related to this artifact.


Information box

  • Type: Software/Firmware/Hardware.
  • Vendor: Identity of the vendor.
  • Name: Name of the component.
  • Description: Description of the component.
  • Kind: Kind of component.
  • Created at: Time of creation.
  • Created by: Created by.
  • Package type:Type of component
  • Update check: If set to TRUE: MAIA will automatically check for version updates.
  • Alt. link: Alternative link address to the source of the component.
  • NVD alias: Platform (CPE) identity in NVD (part:vendor:product).


Edit button

Opens a pop-up window to edit data in the information box.

  • Name: Name of the component.
  • Vendor: Identity of the vendor.
  • Package type:Type of component
  • Description: Description of the component.
  • Alt. weblink: Alternative link address to the source of the component.
  • NVD alias: Enter the component identity in NVD.
  • Kind: Kind of component.
  • Update check: If set to TRUE: MAIA will automatically check for version updates.

Clone button

Opens a pop-up window to edit information and clone the component.



Artifacts tab

Table description

The table lists all versions of an external artifact managed by MAIA Software.

Header Description
Name Name and version of the artifact and link to the artifact info , in package url format. About package url (external link).
Version date Version release date
Status Artifact status described with a set of tags. See external artifact index page
Vulnerabilities If vulnerability detected -> text/symbol indicating the most prioritized vulnerability for the artifact. See external artifact index page
Licenses Licenses identified for the artifact. Light blue icon= approved
Weblink Link to the source of the artifact.
